# Update mini-app details

> Update a mini-app’s name, description, icon, or tags with edit access. Viewing access alone does not authorize changes to the app.

The acting user must have `mini-apps:write`. An empty editor list allows everyone with that permission. When the list is nonempty, only selected editors and the owner can edit. Bare API keys and users excluded by a restricted list receive `403`. The owner can invite eligible teammates from **Share → Can edit**.

Send only the fields you want to change. `tags` replaces the app’s tags: up to 10,
each up to 32 characters. Tags match case-insensitively against your other apps’
tags and take their spelling, so `billing` joins an existing `Billing`. Send `[]`
to remove every tag. [List tags](https://docs.open.cx/api-reference/mini-apps/tags.md) shows the spellings
in use.
