# List voice trunks

> List your own SIP trunks — the ones a sequence voice step your team calls can place calls through.

A voice step with `handled_by: "human"` places its calls through one of these trunks (`trunk_id`). Trunks the platform hosts are never listed: team calls only go through your own carrier. An empty list means the workspace has no SIP trunk of its own yet; connect one under [SIP integration](https://docs.open.cx/phone/sip-integration.md) first.
