# SIP Integration

> SIP trunk provisioning is currently managed from the OpenCX dashboard, not the public API.

SIP trunk provisioning is currently managed from the OpenCX dashboard, not the public API. Use **[Settings → SIP](https://platform.open.cx/settings/sip)** to create inbound trunks, outbound trunks, and transfer destinations.

  The previous SIP API examples documented `/phone/sip/...` endpoints that are not registered in the public API. They have been removed until SIP provisioning is exposed publicly.

For setup steps, see [SIP Integration](/phone/sip-integration). After SIP is configured in the dashboard, you can still use the public [Phone API](/api-reference/phone/create) to create phone agents and start outbound calls.
